Volunteering & Clinical Work Placements

We receive a large number of enquiries regarding volunteering and we strive to find mutually beneficial areas for volunteers to work in or develop.

Due to the nature of the organisation, we are in some ways limited to what we can offer as jobs for volunteers. For confidentiality reasons all volunteers must be prepared to sign a confidentiality agreement.

PLEASE NOTE
To be considered for a position as a counsellor or psychotherapist the applicant must be a qualified psychodynamic counsellor or psychoanalytic psychotherapist, have some experience of counselling an appropriate range of clients and have completed, or be in, ongoing psychodynamic or psychoanalytic personal therapy or be group analytic psychotherapy. The applicant must also work within the BACP Ethical Framework and relevant UKCP ethical requirements, (and with The Foundation Code if a Foundation member) and ensure that they maintain sound ethical standards of practice.

wpf
is open from Monday to Friday 7.45am to 9.45pm, 14 hours per day, with core office hours being 9am to 5pm. Saturday opening hours are 8.45am to 2.15pm, although workshops usually finish at 4pm.
