The total cost of the relocation is £4.9 million. Property costs will account for £3.9 million, whilst refurbishment and re-location costs will be of £1 million. The new building will be handed over to us as an empty shell, and we estimate that it will cost £1 million to get the organisation up and running. A fully costed budget is available.
£700,000 has already been committed towards the cost of the move and refurbishment. We have set the target of raising £1 million in the coming twelve months. An Appeal Board has been established, and a series of events and activities planned. Approaches to funders commenced in the late autumn of 2007, with the main Appeal launched publicly in February 2008.
