We receive a large number of enquiries regarding volunteering and therefore have to disappoint a number of applicants. Many of those volunteering with us for 6+ months have found paid work as a result of the experience gained at WPF Therapy.
Please note that both paid staff and volunteers are expected to sign a confidentiality agreement and to agree to a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure check.

PLEASE NOTE
To be considered for a position as a counsellor or psychotherapist the applicant must be a qualified psychodynamic counsellor or psychoanalytic psychotherapist, have some experience of counselling an appropriate range of clients and have completed, or be in, ongoing psychodynamic or psychoanalytic personal therapy or be in group analytic psychotherapy. The applicant must also work within the BACP Ethical Framework and relevant UKCP ethical requirements, (and with The Foundation Code if a member of The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) and ensure that they maintain sound ethical standards of practice.
