Equal Opportunities Statement

WPF Therapy is positively committed to opposing discrimination. We recognise that there are processes inherent in any organisation, including our own, which can work against this intention. We acknowledge therefore that we have an obligation to be constantly re-examining all aspects of our policy development and implementation. We will aim to ensure that as far as is possible equality of opportunity is available to all who work within WPF Therapy or use its services. WPF Therapy will seek to promote equality of opportunity where it has influence, including in its own constituent bodies and the professional organisations on which it is represented.

WPF Therapy Launches Apprenticeships during Apprenticeship Week

WPF Therapy is excited to be able to provide 3 apprenticeship opportunities.

Lykke Leszczynski, Director of Business & Corporate Services says: “We are pleased to be able to launch these opportunities during the Apprenticeship Week from 1-5 February and particularly at a time when billions of pounds are being cut from next year’s education budgets by the government.

We have decided to show our support for the local community and are delighted that we have been able to choose a reputable, local training provider, Kaplan , for all three positions. Kaplan is based in Borough High Street, within walking distance from our offices. We are hoping to receive suitable and competitive applications from local people so that they can save valuable travelling money and time which can be better used to study for the academic part of the apprenticeship and not least less travelling helps to keep the carbon foot print low. We will however consider any applications in the interest of equal opportunities.”

WPF Therapy has an excellent track record with regard to administrative work placements and paid employment. Those who completed the work placement and who decided to join the job market achieved a 100% success rates in finding paid employment.

Although we can of course not guarantee anyone’s future success we are able to provide solid foundations on which to build future success.
