- Are you interested in learning more about CBT?
- Do you want to add to the portfolio of skills that you use to
work with clients?
Increasingly, counsellors and psychotherapists are being asked
whether they are able to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. CBT
is essentially about thinking, distorted judgements and behaviours
following rigid thinking.
This course, for qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and
psychologists will introduce participants to the CBT model and
provide basic CBT skills and strategies for working with clients.
On successful completion participants will be qualified to use CBT
skills in their private practice and organisational work settings
as per their primary clinical qualification, under appropriate CBT
supervision. Successful participants will also be eligible for a
clinical placement in the WPF Therapy CBT service.
