This unique course is for people who facilitate or
lead groups and teams. You may work in any sector - health,
education, business, social care, voluntary and community - but you
must be working with groups or teams in your role.
-
Do you run therapeutic groups at work - perhaps in
drug/alcohol, mental health or other environment?
-
Are you interested in developing your groupwork
skills?
-
Do you want to find out more about what happens in
groups?
-
Are you thinking about training as a group
analyst?
Why Groups
The one year Diploma in Groupwork can complement an
individual training or can be a first step in group training.
Groups can provide a powerful learning experience. Working
therapeutically in groups can be the ideal setting for development.
People who run groups may not be specifically trained in this
modality, but may be trained to work on-to-one. This one year
course will develop and consolidate their groupwork.
