WPF Therapy is a leading charitable provider of “talking therapies” or “psychological therapies”.
When you have problems or are in distress it can help to talk to somebody. Your counsellor will not tell you what to do or give advice, but will help you explore and reflect on your life and relationships and make your own choices.
We do not administer or prescribe drugs (although some clients also find prescription medication helpful) but instead provide a regular time and space where you can talk to a counsellor or psychotherapist who is trained, experienced and non-judgemental.
WPF Therapy works in a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic way, based on the principle that problems and distress in the present may be related to early experiences. Understanding these will help you develop your own choices and way forward.

Every one to one therapy session takes place at a regular time each week for 50 minutes.
Group therapy sessions take place at a regular time each week and each lasts 90 minutes.
