How We Can Help:-

  • When you have problems or are in distress it helps to talk about it.
  • Therapists are specially trained to listen to people's distress and understand it. And there is plenty of evidence to show that psychological therapy works.
  • It is estimated that one in four adults have significant emotional difficulties at any one time. Many of these people say that they would like to have therapy.
  • Your therapist will help you explore and reflect on your feelings and experiences and enable you to find a way forward.
  • WPF Therapy offers  a range of different therapies, short term and long term, which will help you to develop insight and choice.
  • Our staff will help you to choose the therapy which is most suitable for your needs
  • Long term psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapy provide a more  in-depth exploration of personality and the roots of distress
  • Short term therapies such as CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) and DIT (dynamic interpersonal therapy) provide a focus on specific problems and behaviours that you would like to overcome.
