How we can help
Therapy
- If you are an adult or a young person over 18, you can call our
helpline to find out more about therapy. Our staff can book a
convenient consultation appointment
so you can come and speak one to one about your needs, in private,
with a therapist.
Training
- We have an excellent reputation for training psychodynamic counsellors and
psychotherapists. If we think you have the right qualities, you do
not need a first degree to train with us. Our courses offer great
value for money and excellent practical training to enable you to
work within the NHS, in a range of other organisations and in
private practice.
- Each year around 500 professionals attend our weekend workshops
and postqualifying training courses. We offer a wide range of
CPD to keep you up to date with developments in the world of
counselling and psychotherapy.
- Our introductory courses in counselling skills are ideal for
people who work with people. Many of our students work in the
helping professions - in social work, teaching and in the voluntary
sector. Our training is also valuable to people who work in teams
and in support of colleagues, or who deliver services to the
public, such as managers, HR professionals, lawyers and
trainers.
Commissioners
- We work with commissioners across sectors, delivering
needs-based services to SLA or contract, as outreach or at our
centre at London Bridge. Recent work includes support for
carers, therapeutic group work with older people, counselling for
students, employee assistance programmes (EAP), supervision for
front-line staff. Many of the people who contact us do so on the
recommendation of their GP and we would like to develop
relationships with GP commissioners.
Healthy
Organisations
- People in the workplace have psychological needs too. Our
Supporting Healthy Organisations programme includes workshops for
managers and team leaders and a drop in advice and discussion
forum. We can provide tailored events to suit the needs of
your business.
