Each year, WPF Therapy benefits from the individual
donations of many of our Friends, some of whom make regular
payments by standing order and others who make one off gifts. We
are so very grateful to them for their generous support.
This funding is unrestricted - which means that we can use it
flexibly to support activity where need is greatest.
No donation is too small because it all adds up and may be used in
the following ways:
- To support our low cost clinic and subsidised therapy. At WPF
Therapy we keep our costs down by working efficiently. But we still
need to pay for staff, premises, goods and services
- To provide bursaries for trainees who cannot afford full
fees
- To develop new services - such as 'life histories' groups for
older people and undertake research to improve the services we
offer
- To improve our efficiency - for example, with better IT
systems
- To improve our communications so that more people know about
our services
