Partnerships
At WPF Therapy we understand the importance of partnerships. We
operate in a complex environment where, whether we recognise it or
not, interdependence rather than independence prevails.
The majority of our clients hear about us from friends and
family, their GP and other therapists or psychologists rather than
from our website or our advertising. Networking with other agencies
helps us to be better known and more accessible to clients.
We have values in common with other organisations and
together we can campaign more effectively for what we believe in.
We need to keep abreast of what is happening in the world so that
we can take advantage of new opportunities to the benefit of our
clients our trainees and our staff. And we are always keen to
cooperate with other organisations so that we can be more effective
and efficient in what we do.
If you think that working in partnership with us could add real
value to your work and ours, please contact us at joan.baxter@wpf.org.uk
Some of our partners are local to our base at London Bridge,
others are national organisations. Our national partners
include:
Local partners:
- Community Action Southwark -
voluntary organisations working together and with the local public
sector to improve the well-being of people in Southwark. We chair
the Adult Independence and Well-being Board.
- Team London Bridge - Business
Iimprovement District.
- Better Bankside - Business Improvement
District.

'Developing a partnership with WPF Therapy has been
a great addition to London's Health, Work and Well-being programme.
Joint work has included developing an SE1 workplace health map for
businesses in the area, gaining insight into barriers and concerns
for small businesses in terms of keeping staff well and healthy and
thinking through creative solutions and forms of support such as
the HR drop in Forum. I look forward to continuing to work
with WPF over the next year.'
