Clinical Audit 2011 | Comments (0)
Measuring the impact of our work is a vital part of what we do,
contributing to our understanding of our effectiveness, how this
compares with the published results of psychotherapy, in turn
supporting service development. Our 2011 Clinical Audit told
us that last year:
- 42% of CBT clients were moderately severely or severely
depressed prior to therapy. Post therapy just 2% of clients were
classified as moderately severely or severely depressed
- 33% of clients provided with short term psychodynamic therapy
were moderately severely or severely depressed prior to therapy.
Post therapy, 0% remained in these categories
- 48% of CBT clients were severely anxious prior to therapy. Post
therapy, just 2% remained severely anxious
- 36% of CBT clients were classified as having either no
depression or mild depression prior to therapy. Post therapy,
this had risen to 87%
- 38% of clients provided with short term psychodynamic therapy
were classified as having either no depression or mild depression
prior to therapy. Post therapy, this had risen to 78%.
And analysis of our client feedback questionnaire returns showed
an increase in reported satisfaction with regard to the
psychotherapy received from 80% to 86% in the period April to
September 2011.
